Social Studies & History
BLE's social studies curriculum should give students a better understanding of the world around them and the society they live in. Students learn social relationships and the functioning of society and the world around them in history, government, economics, civics, sociology, geography, and anthropology.
In Elementary, young learners are introduced to concepts that help them understand the ins and outs of a community. As students advance to higher grade levels, they’ll expand their knowledge by learning about a number of fundamental topics like human needs and U.S./World history as well as more complex matters such as U.S. government and foreign policies, and our uniquely created JW Law course in High School where students study a rich spiritual history and it's governmental wins in our modern day world.
